This is the second of two paintings inspired by the 'Africa Remix' exhibition.  Whilst the odd motif is shared by the two paintings, they are quite different in both form and content.  Here, the theme is everyday activities and the simple accessories of life rendered in a predominantly earthy palette.  Both the draughtsmanship and painting of the figures have a deceptively casual air.
